Our mission here at 360X Defense is to teach law-abiding citizens how to deal with violent criminal assaults directed at themselves or a family member. While nobody expects to find themselves in one of these situations, we want to equip you to deal with them should they arise and have the training and mental fortitude to protect yourself and your loved ones.

360X DEFENSE Institute has been in business, helping the people in our community to be less afraid and more involved in protecting themselves and their families for 35 years. Along the way, we have learned a few things and kept up with the latest training methods, cutting-edge skills development, and technology to help train people to the highest levels of defense skills.

We are fully qualified to teach basic handgun safety and shooting skills, with the credentials to show for it. Professor Kenneth R. Haslam has been involved in martial studies for 60+ years and has obtained his California C.C.W., Arizona C.C.W., and Utah C.C.W. over the last eight years. He is certified as a United States Concealed Carry Association Instructor in Concealed Carry and Home DEFENSE and Women’s Handgun Self-Defense Fundamentals.

Professor Haslam is also a Department of Justice-certified firearms safety instructor, certified in American Red Cross first aid, and a certified California Private Security Guard. Check out our About Us section to read more about Professor Haslam’s accomplishments.

We genuinely believe 360X Defense is “The Missing Link” in firearm and self-defense training. So, what makes us different from any other self-defense/firearm training program? 

• The highest quality instruction - Our instructors learned their professional skills in the crucible of real-world violence. As a result, our instructors believe in safety first and are patient with all, from those who have never owned a firearm to those looking for advanced self-defense training.
• Our dry-fire training uses a Virtual Screen Trainer. This is for Our “Shoot, Don’t Shoot” scenario judgment training program. This class offers a complete strategic and tactical approach, teaching students how best to respond to high-stress situations where they may need to use their firearm and when it’s best not to.
• We also have the only force-on-force civilian, real-time, high-stress training for split-second decisions accompanied by what the decision just cost in lives, money, morality, and the aftermath.
